A two-span, arched road bridge named after Józef Piłsudski (also called the Helenski Bridge ) , located along Legionów Street in Nowy Sącz on the Dunajec River and over the floodplain. Both the arches and bowstrings of the bridge were made as steel plate girders closed cross sections, the so-called boxes. Cross-bar and longitudinal girder included in the steel grate were made as typical plate girders. Pins – connecting joints were also used, which eventually connected the steel grate with the reinforced concrete bridge slab.
